LinkAnd a lot of the lgbt+ don’t like them so curious
denoting or relating to a person who does not subscribe to conventional gender distinctions but identifies with neither, both, or a combination of male and female genders.
I think you're thinking of genderqueer? Which is when a person feels like they don't have a specific gender that they assign to, such as male, female or non-binary, and instead most are comfortable with all "conventional" pronouns (he/him, they/them, she/her) and will often not mind which you use when referring to them.
When used in a derogatory way, Queer can be an insult and slur, but when someone identifies as such, it isn't, because that is what label they feel best fits them. As an identity, Queer has it's own flag and community, me being one of them. It is used as an umbrella term for people who feel it is the easiest way to identify or that it is the identity that fits them best. Thank you for your concern tho :) Genderqueer is also a gender identity, and does not mock non-binary people, it is just how they identify. See my above comment for a more in-depth explination.
The "Q" can refer to either queer or questioning.
also Queer means gay but they don't know exactly what they are
