Scarlet'Paw and Otter'Paw were talking until they had noticed that Golden'Kit was being chased by a fox. Otter ran in and fought it off, losing all movement in his back legs in the process. Golden'Kit, in guilt, ran into the forest to never return. Scarlet'Paw was given her warrior title alone, Scarlet'Smoke. And then she met Deer'Vine, a handome, charming tom. And they fell in love, Soon having kits- in the honor of her two lost friends, Scarlet named them Otter'Kit, and Golden'Kit.

Deer'Vine had turned into deputy, and began to ignore his family. Scarlet'Smoke got very angry at this, and she brought it to Deer's attention, to which only got her a scratch to the eye- not making her blind, but made her vision worse. Scarlet'Smoke told the current leader, Ivy'Star, and he didn't believe her, causing Scarlet'Smoke to get very angry. That was when Windclan caught on fire. A mischievous shadowclan apprentice had started a fire close to the tallgrass around windclan, quickly catching and starting a huge fire. in the rush, Scarlet'Smoke lost her kits in the evacuation, and Deer'Vine seemed more than okay with that. For that, Deer'Vine and Scarlet'Smoke fought, Scarlet killing Deer.

No one caught her, and they all assumed that Deer went missing. and with that, Scarlet became Deputy, even with herself losing hope in starclan.

Ivy'Star was disgusting, in Scarlets eyes. How could he believe in the cats that let her children die? Because of that, Scarlet counted down the lives that Ivy'Star used recklessly, down to his last. Then, smoke pushed him off into the gorge. Scarlet took the place of leader.
