LinkI am currently working on this HP drawing for someone for Christmas and thought some of you would like to see it! Critiques/comments/advise is welcome.

I used a bit of black to darken it, but for the darkest skin color itself I used Peach

Usually I use browns and a small amount of purple in the very darkest points

LinkYeah I used a bit of purple in the shadows earlier. Shading skin color is hard :P

LinkSkin is really hard but that's what makes it so fun for me to do
Most skin has purples as shadows and blues as really lights but both of those should be used lightly so as to not make the person look dead

LinkYeah I learned that from experience. I tried doing a colored self portrait a while back XD
I can draw people really good in black and white at least. And in the end I was pretty happy with my portrait.

Linkmy friends and i are both Harry Potter nerds and even have code names for characters that we came up with that we go by, even on the phone. I can't wait to show her this and watch her freak out

how do you color with color pencils so well gah man oh man do you have patience this is why I tend to stick to digital drawing cuz theres a paint bucket tool CX

Yeah I think one reason why I'm good at drawing is cause sometimes I'll just sit there and focus on the tiniest details for the longest time.
Okay I think I've been at this for about four-five hours today (though I was rping with a friend too) so I'll stop here for now.
