Their "argument" is so weird, too. It doesn't look exactly the same as flipanim, therefore it cannot possibly have taken any inspiration from it?
I think they're just getting defensive over the fact that maybe an online drawing/animation application isn't a 100% original idea...
Their problem is they have an autistic loyalty to website used to draw pictures that move, and the idea that the one they chose isn't the original causes an autistic rage that could rival ten bronies being told that their waifu is shit.
I mean, not to sound rude here or anything, but you DID call their website a Flipanim Knockoff. To be honest, it was sort of expected for them to take that seriously.
Not saying I'm against you or anything, but this was kind of to be expected.
