LinkI named this dog after a ski hill in my town and have no regrets
A large, fluffy Australian Shepherd with large paws and a missing front-right paw. His left hind paw is bent awkwardly because as a puppy, he tripped and injured it.
Gender: M
Backstory: Aspen was born in a flourishing meadow surrounded by nothing but wilderness. He grew up with his parents, but more importantly, a small German shepherd named Venus. Because of his deformity, he wasn't able to get around as easily as the other creatures in the meadow and thus couldn't hunt as well. This led him to depend on Venus to provide for and protect him. +
+ As time passed, the world around him seemed to become more and more dangerous, as humans had begun to populate the meadow with their cabins and campsites. This didn't bother the wild dogs until someone camping nearby noticed them looking through their dumpster for food. A report was sent to a local animal collection service, and, in turn they contacted capturers. The thing is, these 'capturers' also served a different purpose. They worked for a few scientists who experimented with 'fixing' problems such as Aspen's. A sort of 'strange vet,' if you will. +
+ With a struggle, the vets managed to corner Aspen and Venus, swiftly caging them and taking them back to their HQ. A lock on Aspen's cage was loose, and together, he and Venus worked out a plan to escape. But.. when the time came, Aspen narrowly managed to slip through his opened door, while Venus was left. He told his friend everything was going to be okay, and to just get out, he would follow shortly after. He didn't.
And that's the gist of his backstory. Will go more into detail on my actual animation later, hah.
