2. It is very true that glitchtrap is in fact a boy; he is possessed by William Afton himself after he died in FNaF 6 as he still continues to kill children in the bunny suit

Is Vanny an Afton?
Vanny is a protege of William Afton, who will continue his killings after he's gone. Vanny sent the materials to Silver Parasol Games to allow Glitchtrap to appear in the game and allow him to escape into someone else's body, effectively reviving William Afton.

What do the animatronics mean by the one you shouldn't have killed?
So, a very interesting line is repeated throughout the game by several Animatronics whenever they get you. They reference someone that the character we play as (at this point assumed to be William Afton himself confined to his own personal hell after being incinerated after the events of FFPS) shouldn't have killed.
The boy who would become "The One you Should Not Have Killed" was presumably one of William Afton's victims, and was murdered at a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He may also be the child possessing Golden Freddy.
