They told us only god could save us we knew he wouldn't try Through all of their hate and bloodlust He couldn't meet our eyes We prayed and prayed wishing for our lives we only truly lived once we all have died Gone in an instant leaving me behind all my faith and virtues disappeared while i cried healing is so hard I've never felt so cold the foot steps in the snow yet i was alone New music i could hear for all my pain and sorrows i swore i always saw you face inside my windows i kept you in art in my colors and my ink through the graphite on the paper i never felt weak my inspiration, my muse, my motivation kept alive by a dulling hatred slowly it seeped from my pens onto paper, again and again my hate turned to hope and hope turned to fear my fear turned to love it flowed softly in my ears music that sung and art that lived every moment with you gone felt like a heavens kiss i miss you so dearly and i'll love you for life but recently it seems
