1) Autumn Air I breathe in, the oxygen filling my lungs, Nourishing my body with its sweet scent Cramming its way into every vessel I wait, looking up at the sky I allow the oxygen to flitter through my body Now carbon dioxide, it floats through me, Begging to be let out But I wait, savoring the bits and pieces The smell of dying leaves and browned grass I listen to the pitter-patter of red squirrels, Playing in the grass, preparing for winter I feel the coarse plants under my hands, Small thorns waiting to grow My lungs are pleading, begging me Let go, they beg And I do Welcome back, autumn air

2) I whisper and you whisper back Not as loud, but just enough to be heard My footsteps repeat, over and over Beyond my control, they follow me I yell and you yell back Repetitive noise, nothing new Heard by everyone If only it was so for me But I remain Unheard

3) T-R-U-S-T Blackness surrounds Seeing without seeing Trust T-R-U-S-T Trust is what it takes We must let go of fear Trust yourself I walk, no vision Unknown I turn a corner Trust I start to run, and fall I open my eyes There stands a brick wall There is a fine line Between trust and foolishness You know which one to choose
