One of my more recent drawings of these two (recent as in over a year ago) with a pretty similar concept definitely had something going for it. But sprinkle in a bit more advanced textures, diverse foliage, and an attempt at fur texture... you get what I made above! Even if I don't draw backgrounds quite often, I'm always surprised at how vast a difference there is between each of these drawings. Love to see improvement, yippee!
