I've been trying so hard to stand up for myself, but it doesn't work. People take advantage of me, and hurt me, physically and verbally. I try to tell myself words can't hurt me, but that isn't true. People always get to me in the worst ways. I can't do anything about it. I hide how much hurt they've sent my way, but I still feel it inside me. No matter how hard I try, people always hurt me.
