I did that once and
Then he looked at me and said
" Me?" It was funny but we talked and then... ya
You approach them, and tell them:
"I like you, a lot, I love you and I had to tell you" or some variation of that.
Then try writing them an anonymous note or lean against the wall close to them and say "____ is cute!" ( kinda like Busterthedog's advice)
Try to dress to impress... Don't show off anything that you don't feel comfortable with, but you want to dress nice. If you don't feel comfortable with telling him up front then try a note
