Tw: Abuse Okay soooo When Bow was born his family was already broken. His mama was tweaked out on drugs even through her pregnancy so Bow was born with alot of health problems and extremely underweight. His mama soon left him to his father Michael (M). M was not a good man whatsoever. He was one of the reasons the mother used drugs, to escape him. M was very neglectful and abusive mentally and physically. M did not want Bow at all because he believed it wasn't even his son. But M saw another use out of Bow. As Bow grew up he was rarely fed so he was pretty weak and fragile. M would make him do all the chores at the young age of 5 years old, even sending them by himself to the store. When bow "misbehaved" which was just him existing M would drag Bow outside and lock him in a shed in their yard. Now M and bow lived in the country so their was no one around to hear him screaming for help.

As bow grew up he would often wounder the woods behind their house. Being mistreated and never having a good example of a good person, Bow would steal his fathers cigarettes and smoke in the woods to relax. Bows only clothes were a large hoodie and jeans his father threw in the trash when he couldn't fit them. Occasionally Bow would run away but the police would bring him home no matter how much he begged and told them what happened. Eventually Bow made a very odd friend

This friend was indeed a possum he met in the woods. Bow and this possum spent a few years together but were bestfriends. Bow even mimicked the possum behavior as he grew up. Sleeping in trees, Bushes, under houses even learning how to scavenge and hunt. Soon the father found out why his son was not doing all the house work and coming home so late. Now M saw any attachments bow had to anything as a distraction so what did he do? M decided to take his pistol he had gitten from his brother, wait for Bow to go outside to meet up with the possum and shoot it. Now this messed Bow up BADLY. That night after a beating from his father and being locked in the Shed he had enough. He spent forever climbing out a small hole in the shed. Bow had made his way into the home to find his father passed out drunk on the couch. Sneaking upstairs into his fathers musty room he opened the gun safe

He had taken the pistol his father used to shoot his bestfriend and made his way back downstairs. Standing over his father as he sat drunkenly passed out in his arm chair he cocked the gun and aimed it at M. After years and years of verbal and physical mistreatment Bow was ready. At 11 years old he was ready to kill M. Just as he pulled the trigger the dad woke up and knocked the gun to the side. Shooting him in the arm instead. The frightened Bow ran out of the house the father tried catching up to him but there was no point. Bow knew if he returned home the punishment would be deadly. And so Bow ran and ran. He took trains and buses just to get away from M. He ended up in the big city. Bow spent about three years on the streets. He stole from venders to eat and lived in a Box in an alley

One day a man and a woman approached him. They took him to go eat, while they ate they made a offer to him. They eould give him a place to stay, a place to eat ect. In exchange he would help work on their Ranch. Of course bow was hesitant but agreed, what else could he do? So, they made the long long journey to the countryside. They did indeed take care of him, they fed him and gave him a place to stay and gave him his first taste of parental love. On his 15th birthday they gave him his first birthday present ever. His own clothes and a specially made belt. Bow was overjoyed and wore those clothes religiosity. As promised Bow helped the man on his ranch for awhile. Bow was loyal to them and they were to him. And so when they got older years later, Bow continued his work on the ranch. And he still does to this day, like a good possum boy. Oh and he's a closeted 🏳️‍🌈👨‍❤️‍👨 THE END
