and also because of my animation style, some frames do just look like blobs. I don't use outlines to get the features other than the outside outline of the character.

well yeah, i do have source content to work off of. usually just looking up the emote gets you a good visual of it, you know. using the "," and "." keys on the keyboard, i advance my reference video by one frame, and try to recreate each frame as accurately as possible.
