I love looking at my old art, going through my old comments, all the way to the first drawing I have ever done, which wasn't even on this account at all. It was on another account of mine that I had abandoned and forgotten the password to, because in a fit of rage of me unable to focus on my school because I was obsessed with this website, I thought if I got rid of the one thing keeping me on it, I would never return again.

And yet I still did. I remember making multiple accounts in hopes of people recognizing my work, and if they had never done so, I would give up the account entirely and come back here. I was so focused on gaining attention that I had completely abandoned the reason why I had drawn in the first place. Not because of the compliments and praises of everything but because it was an escape for me. I love drawing still, I rarely do it much but when I do I enjoy the outcomes. I might not shade or color, sketching is enough for me, and that's okay with me.

I'm happy where I am right now. Back with my family, sure things have changed, I'm gonna be 21 soon in a couple of months. February 22. And to think at one point in my life I told myself I wouldn't even reach past 18 still baffles me and I'm glad a lot of my attempts failed. I'm happier than how I used to be.

I'm glad I never deleted my accounts on here. Otherwise I would've never had a reason to return here and see how people improved. Well, I'm not around much to really see that but I still see some of you active and that makes me happy too.
