There was a recent discovery, a species that were called Halfspires, they have been studied and have been shown that they are loyal, and protective to loved ones, they became worldwide, and soon, the worlds favorite pet!
You wanted to have one as your own so you asked your parents but they said no. You were mad so you decided to find one instead! You began packing a bookbag as soon as your parents went to sleep. Then snuck out the house and to the forest near by, you eventually got lost but then you stumbled upon a cave, you ran inside right when it began raining/pouring. Then when you looked around, you see a creature in the far corner, it was a Halfspire! But it was asleep

She gasped in amazement stepping back to not disturb it's rest

Bacc- and now I introduce child Hayley-))
+Hayley smiled, and sat by the Halfspire. She admired it, and pulled out her notebook she used to study animals, and wrote down the details.+
+She jumped a little at it moving so suddenly. Hayley wrote down all the details; and places her book and pencil on the ground. She reached out slowly to pet them.+
+Hayley stopped until she felt it was safe- and slowly placed her hand softly on it's head.+ "..."
+She yelped, and jumped back. Hayley shook a little; but tried to take deep breaths.+ "S-Sorry.."
"I-I'm really s-s-sorry.." +Hayley started to cry; assuming that she hurt them really bad.+
+She curled up in a ball, shivering from the cold, and guilty for nothing.+
+Hayley sniffed, and looked at them. She laid her head gently on them; before falling asleep.+
[The next morning.]
+Hayley, after a few minutes, woke up slowly. She yawned and opened her eyes.+
+Once they where in front of her house- she refused to get off.+ "No-"
"Omph-" +Hayley hit the ground, and got up. Her parents came rushing up; hugging her. She wiggled out of their grasp and looked at the Halfspire. Tears started to fall.+
"P-Please don't l-leave.." +Hayley sniffed, and the parents looked at each other. Her mom spoke up.+ "Hayley, sweetheart, they have to go back.."
"B-But...I don't want them to l-leave.." +She sobbed, and hugged them.+
"NOOOO!!!!!" +She cried louder, and tried to run after them, but her parents held her back.+
[Few days later.]
+Hayley was sitting in the backyard, playing with the dirt in a depressed manner.+
+Hayley looked up, and gasped.+ "You came back!!!" +She hugged them close.+
+Hayley though.+ "Hmmm...." +She bit down on her tongue.+ "Oh! I got it! Que!"
