Giro paced around his small cage, occasionally bashing his tail into the walls denting it, claustrophobia growing constantly.

He smelled the scientist and charged to the corner of the cage spinning before his tail ripped a large chunk of the metal with a screech causing the scientist to jump in surprise.

It took a surprising amount of time for the drug to affect Giro, He was angry VERY angry. Without him the pups were in danger, being he was assigned to protect the Omegas as they cared for the young. He felt his body slip under the drug before falling over partially leaning on the cages wall.

He eyed the scientist still awake although his body was heavy with the drugs affect, opening his mouth with a growl, black saliva dripping from his fanged mouth. Eyes brightening in color with pure aggression.

( to clear a few things Giro is part of a extremely rare species called Zezies they have a similar pack like relationships of wolves, they are very lethal in combat )

He watched the human closely, his eyes being locked on them. Cautiousness growing and growing and tension of the rise. Although he was semi calm, being taught that panic was a deadly thing to happen when in threatening circumstances.

Giro lifted his head a bit ears lifting off his head as some feeling began to return in his body, he couldn’t see what distracted the human since the cages walls only had small holes for oxygen to reach the inside. His tail twitched as he focused on the sounds.

He could here another subject screaming, and smiled some the build up in his mouth finally warming up and his body returning to full control, a sizzling sound came before he spat at the cages lock bursting out with a crash before spitting another small amount at a nearby human who tried to contain him again.

He took a small moment to calculate multiple movements before the door holding the other captive exploded open with the force of his tail, before he stood for a moment staring to the other captive before turning and racing out of the room with unmatched speed his sword like tail swinging grind him. ( Zezies we’re practically made for combat and fast travel )

He tripped multiple humans on the way getting zapped and shot with a few tranquilizers and electricity but the amount of adrenaline ignored these things his body adapting to the drug enough already to slow its development into his body, his muscles aches from the zaps but he knew he couldn’t stop he needed to escape before a predator threatened his pack while he was off post.

‘ How long was this building? He could’ve swore he smelled the exit somewhere- ‘ He thought turning corners and dodging a few SWAT team members as they tried to halt his escape. And there it was… a highly guarded and tight exit, He sighed knowing exactly what he needed to do even if it would cost him later. His markings started to glow and electricity filled the air before multiple zaps ran straight into multiple enemies and he slid under some traps finally reaching the outside the entrance exploding behind him. ‘ they sure made a mistake. ‘ he chuckled at the thought while limping away sirens loud.

Poor bean, Giro is hardly scared for himself he’s scared over the protection of the pups ) He panted as the mass amount of drugs starting take a toll along with the shocks, his pace slowly a bit as he continued running from the humans which were most likely following him, he took a sharp swerve noting he couldn’t go home just yet and lead the enemy to their camp, he would run a complete different direction and try to loose them before traveling back.

He fell immediately due to his weakening state, and turned to the other growling loudly trying to hide his waning consciousness in a form of intimidation. Before getting up and taking off again at hearing the patrol units getting closer.

( Zezies are not used to associating with any other species so that would be a common response lol )

He turned around, eyes filling with slight sympathy. He shook his head, ‘ fine I’ll save your behind once more but that’s it. ‘ He ran back before leaping over the fallen other and running straight to the following unit his body sharing up like last time, before demolishing them all. The lash back on two of those attacks affecting his body greatly but at least he could rest now.

Charging*

He breathed out in an almost wheezing manor before collapsing, letting his body rest now that the threat had been demolished small portions of the surrounding humane vehicles on fire.

His ear flicked half consciously listening to an Beta Zezie call in the distance. He woke up fully unable to move much of his body and raised his head calling out in the same tone and melody, the sound was one that was hard to describe.

He added an extra call, to assure that the other wouldn’t be torn to pieces alive and fed to the pups. Before laying his head back down thankful that some of the patrolling pack members had been near when they received information of a member disappearing.

A patter of foot steps and three adult Zezies parted from the foliage two beta and one omega, there wasn’t any Alpha probably since another had taken up his post. The purple marked omega trotted up to him bowed her head in submission and sniffed over his body. While the two betas stayed alert practically glaring at Apex with a defensive behavior.

The Omega huffed through her nose and inserted her fangs into the back of his neck while he just stayed still feeling the healing saliva of the medic beginning to take affect at numbing his pain and easing off the drugs from the tranquilizers. She they released her hold licking the bite a few times. He made a trill of thanks. Zezies never used there actual language or speech around an outsider. Most motions around an outsider would be a call or body language.

The omega looked to the other creature making a few chirps and he nodded a bit, knowing Sia was one of the most openly friendly Zezies he knew. She walked over to the creature in a hesitant manor while the betas tensed, ready to defend the omega of the creature happened to attack, she purred at Apex nosing his face her fur soft and warm. Being an omega Sia was built for these situations, she could practically smell the pain and fear of the stranger.

Manner*

He purred at him flicking her tail which wasn’t like the others it was soft and didn’t have the sword edge like the others, a tail that resembled a regular foxes. She kneeled next to Apex tucking he paws underneath her and curling her tail.

Sia tilted her head with sadness, Her saliva only worked for those of her kinda, but she was determined to to help them anyway she made a chirp to one of the betas and signaled a few this before the beta sighed and went back into the forest appearing again with her requested herbs.

She chewed these herbs mixing with her saliva to form a medicine and spat it onto his wounds wrapping a few long strips of a type of large leaved tropical bush, around or over the wounds.

She hushed him with some comforting sounds like a mother calming her pup.

Giro, now mostly recovered got up and walked over to Sia without any noise lightly nosing her that they were leaving, she gave him a pout before following knowing it was against pack guidelines to bring a stranger to camp without proper discussion.

In a triangular form, Sia in the middle the two beta flanking and Giro leading they left heading back into the shade and safely of the jungle which was overrun with many plants that nearly hid them completely.

( HhHhHhHh I’ve been collecting ideas for this species for ages and I’m finally writing something with the species culture. )

They re entered the camp, he was met with multiple fur balls ambushing him, he playfully fell over in a pretend defeat as the pups ran back to their mother who had called them back. ‘ well their training seems to be going well ‘ he thought not having heard them before entering.

( Giro’s so sweet with his pack mates, Zezies are mostly very caring for their families / packs / although they don’t show this outside of camp )

He let Sia run off to talk to her friends, and began to walk to his den to sleep for a little more before going of to patrol and hunt again.

Giro was internally guilty of leaving the other back, but he had to protect his pack. And bringing a stranger to a camp full of young pups with only a few alphas present, which most of them were out doing jobs- wasn't the best thing for his family.

Giro perked his ears which had been lowered for most of the time being in the lab, showing signs of a small spark of happiness removing his usual stoic look.

He touched noses with a pup as they paid Giro respects as the 4th alpha in the entire pack.

He rested some before going straight back to patrols, walking alone this time since many of the pack members were either busy or already on a patrol. His footsteps hardly audible while he nosed a couple of plants trying to find a slower to bring back for Sia.

He suddenly halted sniffing the air to whatever scent was being carried by the small draft, and smelled something familiar yet it was faint and hard to identify fully.

He followed the faint scent as it grew stronger even though he didn’t recognize it. ( because Apex’s scent was thick with fear and pain when he first met him not that that is lessened his actual scent is clearer but Giro hadn’t smelt it yet. )
