Im guessing this a sketch- but uh, i'd say for stuff like shading, it can help to use multiple shades of a color to blend lighting into the character for a smoother look- for shadows i wouldn't really know what ta tell ya advice wise but since she is in a foresty environment- i would think that she'd be more shadowy[this is just my opinion- it may not be accurate]
