LinkIf you didn’t know before my brother is autistic and nonverbal, online I always see people posting their experiences and feats they or other autist have done. But what they never seem to talk about is how painstakingly difficult it is to take care of someone with autism. They hardly ever show all the meltdowns and fighting there is involved with it, so people just think it’s easy and the further on the spectrum they are they think the easier it get. Well they’re wrong and they always will be , 80% of the time it’s the negative parts of autism. Day in and day out it’s like being put into a washing machine and then being rung out and left to dry,I’m tired and angry but at the same time I appreciate him for it. Because if it wasn’t for all the shit he puts me through daily I wouldn’t be this outspoken about everything
