I've never exactly gotten into Murasaki's backstory before... But now's finally the time to do it! Murasaki's family are goths. They love, and live in black. When Murasaki was born, her parents were in shock.. Her parents had black hair and blue/green eyes, while Murasaki had purple hair and pink eyes. She's what you call a mutation, where a person was born without the looks and details of their parents. Murasaki was obviously shunned for being so bright and colorful, which put a huge burden on her life as she went on and grew up. Her mother hated her the most. She grew up hating her power because she only wanted to fit in with the rest of her family. The more she used it, the more anxious she became. It was strong magic, and she could do a lot with it, but she never wanted to use it, until the day there was a break-in. There were more than 10 robbers that broke into Murasaki's home and threatened to kill everybody in the house. Murasaki fought back though, against 10 older men with guns.
The fight lasted almost an hour before the police finally came and put down the last two robbers Murasaki was fighting against. Luckily, nobody was seriously harmed, but Murasaki became unconscious after so much fighting. She woke up in the hospital with strange vision. (Imagine closing your left eye, that's what she saw) The doctors came in and explained that she overused her magic, and it costed her vision in her left eye. Her family was shocked, and they all felt bad for shunning her for so many years. Her mother refused to talk to her at all after that since she felt so bad, but the rest of her family warmly welcomed her back into the house the next week and they lived happily afterward.
I could go on about her backstory for a while, but I'll keep it short for now since I'm not really in the mood to write too much. Anyways, over time, she grew to like the Top 5 group and aspired to be just like them when she was older. She trained her powers, her body, and her charisma in preparation for Storm High.
