You'll lose friends over the time but it's okay. Just now that they weren't for you. If they ask you to do many things and they never give anything back then they aren't a good friend if they are using you and manipulating you. I lost my best friend because I as trying to defend her in a fight. It got out of hand and I still have this bruised fight. She decided befriend me so I just moved on because every fight we got in I had to defend her.
