LinkWhy were you eating your feelings, Ototo-kun?
I mean, yeah, it IS true that it’s hard to be upset when you’re eating something delicious, but t h r e e root beer floats? That’s a bit much, don’t you think?
Btw
Whenever I’m really upset, I seclude myself from the world around me, especially by listening to music loud enough to ignore everything and everyone around me
If it’s at night, I might sneak out of the house and go for a nice, calming walk in the night, then come home and maybe eat, like, a string cheese, or a granola bar, or an apple, or something (we don’t get a whole lot of junk food ‘round here, so we make do with what we’ve got *shrug*)
If we have some cheese that’s harder to come by -at least, harder to come by in our house- (such as smoked gouda, meunster, or other delicious cheeses) I’ll sneak myself a piece of that, and eat it much slower than normal, taking my time to enjoy the cheesy deliciousness. It r e a l l y helps me to stabilize myself, and my mental/emotion

LinkMental/emotional state.
If you’ve heard that it’s hard to stay upset when you’re eating something delicious, DON’T IGNORE IT! It’s completely true, and I’ve tested it several times, and every test led to the same conclusion- that the theory is not a theory, but rather, it is indeed a fact!
I’m not going to stop you from eating your feelings, nor am I able to in any way, but if -and possibly when- you eat your feelings, I ask of you one thing: be smart about eating your feelings.
And three root beer floats is not being smart about it. Nor is a n y junk food in such a large amount
