I started animating maybe 2 or 3 years ago but never really was super into it until a couple months ago. I started off just animating small things like paws, ears, eyes, and mouths. Eventually I tried doing practice for actions and hair (I still do alot of hair practice because it's fun) but only recently did I start doing memes because the motions typically seen in them are things I would like to be able to draw/animate in the future. It also helps with timing and the fear of presenting work to the public. Those things are helpful for people who want animation for a career.
