LinkOnline school has been really strange for me.
First day, Lots of teachers asking for us to talk LOL and since I'm a good student I turned on my mic when they asked as well as my camera..
Now, All teachers have a way of taking attendance and I'm not a teacher so I'm not one to judge, but here are some ways they used..?
This one teacher is really ... err.. how do I say basic in the nicest way?
I'll call her Karen. Karen told all of us to put on our cameras on because she wanted to take attendance that way, wanting everyone to participate that way as well? Then she made us play a game that was about her lol, I was like 4th or 5th place because I saw her last year but never had her. . . the rumors about her being "generic" were true lol.
Another teacher was really funny, I'll call him Greg. GREG CAN JUGGLE! But he was kinda weird in the beginning, he wanted us to go down the list of zoom names turning on our mics and sharing our names, fav color, and something interesting about us. It's not abno

I saw my camera in her glasses reflection zoomed up and prioritized on my camera and when I sneezed I wasn't expecting anyone to notice but then she took the time to unmute her mic and say "bless you, Athena" with a big smile on her face lol I was grateful but a little weirded out!

LinkSaw a teacher I dislike kinda because she was supposed to be fired in my freshman year for cursing, favoritism over students, and literally reminded us every day that she's there for the money lol?? She yelled at me and often would call me out in front of the class whenever I got in trouble for doodling during class-- she seemed happy to see me.
So my school splits 8 classes into A and B days, 4 classes each day. We also take college courses at my highschool in order to graduate with our associates degree. (Or higher if you work for it) So today I had no classes at all because I had college classes all day and just had to sign in so that was cool i guess. College classes don't start till the 24th..
What're some weird stories you may have for your First two days of online school?
