Linkhaving experienced a perfect balance, but being unable to get that back without hurting sucks. like in the most literal sense. i had perfect medications, my brain felt normal, i was happy, and not afraid, and i felt motivated. and then the perfect medication caused acid reflux so bad that i couldnt swallow properly. and now i am having to go through more and more different medications to find something that will work the same, bring back the same balance, and nothing works. and it takes so long for a medication to get into your system properly to see if it works. then when it does t to let it get out of your system, and every time you stop a medication, the body reacts weirdly and thats just what im dealing with constantly. whatever side effects, then the withdrawal effects and then again and again over courses of months

Linkand when i was a kid i was going through meds all the tim then too, for adhd. notbing worked forever. always something new. always new side effects. some side effects were a constant. im not opposed to needing medication in daily life, im not afraid of trying new medications. but when you just cant find something to work, its exhausting. and when you lose what worked, its painful. i cant go off my sleep/antispychotic meds or else i go through actuall withdrawals
