1. I’m not actually hurt by what you said, I said “ouch” because I was surprised.
2. Even if it was a joke, I didn’t find it funny. Humor is subjective, you might find something funny but other people might not find it funny. And besides, I don’t think backhand complimenting someone is funny.
3. Even if I was offended, I don’t think insulting someone is the way to go.
So yeah, I’m not hurt, I just didn’t find what you said funny.
