and like a moth or two later the person brought them over and my god those two were very quiet and reserved

The two simply sat on the floor, both huddled in the corner, both nervous
He smiled “sorry if Trix scared you, she can be quite a handful sometimes,, but it’s okay to tell her, she doesn’t *normally* bite”
He bit his lip in oopsie
“Well, she’ll bite if you steal her food so..”
He tried to smile then realized the food was burning and started running around to get water
They both realized what was going on and we'll, mild panic
until the smaller one got up, grabbed the sink sprayer and just sprayed out the fire
The older stares at him before glancing at his brother "is,,, is he dead?"
And the younger brother shrugs, mild comcern

They both realize there was a problem and the youngest scurried to get the phone while the older comforts Mr floppy man
He was breathing heavily and his voice was kinda raspy “don’t worry I’m fine.. this happens a lot..” he said, trying to reassure them even though it was obviously false
He smiled and the front door swung open, revealing Trix with her clown outfit still on, looking quite distressed
The oldest moved away from now claimed father unit, staring up at her with mild desperation
She rushed over, and quite frankly probably looked mad with her makeup
(When the kids met her, she wouldn’t have been wearing makeup, she would have her normal human face, so it may come as a shock to them
He reached out to her, still lying there and she grabbed his hand and yanked really hard on it
The older one narrows his eyes, growing a bit tense but the youngest grabbed his arm
Vex looked from Trix to the kids, then smiled nervously “oh um.. we forgot to warn you that Trix works with uhm..” he stared at her for a second, thinking of something to say “she works at kids birthday parties!”
Trix ran out of the room and came back a second later with no makeup
“Hi!”
They froze and stared at each other “well, technically yes-” Vex started, only to be interrupted by Trix “we’re married”
He cupped his hand over his mouth "oooo!" He seemed mildly excited "it's been a while since we were placed with a,,, healthy couple"
“Well, a transgender male and a selective mute don’t go very well together..” Trix vigorously nodded her head

Aliza:*She watches the kids in her room with books and nothing else but a balcony,as silent herself she didnt mind the quiet*
The two remained huddled together, the smaller one whispered somethi g to his brother, who seemed strangely reluctant
Aliza:...*she points to some books she picked out for the boys,Hoping they would read them,She loves to read*
They both flinched at the sudden pointing but the older one glances over at the pile but doesn't move other than that
Aliza:*she gets up from her bed and gets the crates and puts it infront of them*...*she didnt seem upset just watching but not creeply but like in a comforting way*
Aliza:*she noddes her haed in a comforting way*....if you want to read these books you may...*Points to the backyard where there was a greenhouse with butterflys flying and lovely flowers*i'll be at the garden if you need me you know where i am...you may come if you wish*and with that she left*
They glanced at eachother, before the smaller one whispered to his brother who nodded and got up
*in the garden*...*she hums a song she has a lovely voice but doenst sing unless shes alone**she tends to her garden pulling weeds and watering*
The older one grabbed up a book and skimmed through it and the younger one wanders the house
The older one turns and accidentally knocks something over, and stared in fear
the younger peeks over "ah good job bozo!" He frowned
aliza:...*picks u the broken flowerpot looking a bit "upset" but it passed*...its okay but you need to plant this flower now...take those garden gloves and plant it please...
The older just swiped the flower and basically bolted outside, no gloves no nothing
the smaller one seemed frustrated
Aliza:.....*she looks at the small one*Dear? may you get your brother please? i wanna show him proper flower care if you don't mind
Aliza:Please put these on we have no time to spare*she gives him the gloves and helped him put them on they were rubbery but soft*Now see this hole i made put the flower in gentley
He nodded and just put the flower in
quickly taking off the gloves because he hates how they feel
Aliza*she covers the flower with dirt then turns up to the older brother*...thank you now was there something you guys needed?
The older one shook his head, trembling a bit
the smaller one shrugged

the smaller one jumped and stared at his brother in confusion
Aliza:...*gets a blanket from her "Reading Tree" and wraps it around him,It's very warm and soft not itchy nor rough*
He was literally panicking
the smaller one sighs and takes off the blanket, careful not to touch him "don't touch when he's like this, doesn't react well to contact from strangers"
Aliza:...im not a stranger,though...they must have perpared you before you came,Correct?
Aliza:i see...well you'll be safe here i assure you....nothing EVER gets through these gates but me and now you two...at least for now now are you guys hungry?
Aliza:are you tired?....maybe...you could help me making your guys rooms?
Aliza:alright follow me*they enter the house with a blank room and a bunk bed with 6 paint cans with red,orange,yellow,green,blue,purple*im sorry i didnt know what your farvoite colors were so you may paint
They look at eachother before glancing back at her
"do you have any dull colors? Like brown or white?" The oldest asks
The oldest smiles, taking some of the bright colors and dull "thank you" he then goes over to a wall
The youngest grabs a pile of paint brushes of all different sizes

He’d smile warmly, that little hand over heart/chest thing old people do (/j) “oh you two are very sweet,, come in! I make lunch, i hope you’re hungry,,” he’d hold the door open to allow the two inside, on the table is an actually nice looking lunch, sandwiches, two glasses of water, and a little bowl of sweets along with some other things, the main room of the house has a lot of windows, and no actual lightbulbs, it’s actually really nice, all sorts of plants along the walls and everything, and it smells wonderful, definitely a peaceful place

they both stare in sheer awe before they look at eachother with the widest smiles on their face as they went inside
Hed chuckle softly, incredibly happy to have kids in the house again and he’d take his coat off and hang it gently on the coatrack, rolling up his sleeves, there are a few scars along his arms, but they look significantly less human made and more like he got into one too many rowdy play fights with a dog,, or something of the sort, he’d adjust his glasses and head to the kitchen. “So! Boys, you got names? I cannnnt quiiiite remember what the paperwork said, besides, I’d much prefer you introduce yourselves.”
The kitchen was in very clear view from the table, there wasn’t even a wall dividing the rooms, simply counter/island with barstools at it.
They both hopped onto the chairs before situating themself and responding
"I am, Maximilian, or just max for short" replied the youngest
"Annnddd,, Jackson" the oldest replied
He’d glance over to get a good look at who said what before beaming. “Maximilian and Jackson, Wonderful to have you hear, you guys can call me almost anything you’d like, but my names Mendigo,” he’d proceed to wash his hands, humming happily to himself. “Now, if you two finish that and are still hungry would you boys like pie,, oooorrr,, hmm, fried dough?”
"um,, I'm not sure" max says
Jackson shrugs, unsure aswell
the boys seem, a lot more content now knowing a bit about this dude than they have before
“Huh, I see,, umm,, maybe I’ll make a pie,, cherry, apple, or chocolate? Annnd it’ll chill till tomorrow,, annnnd we can go get ice cream?” Hed smile a bit before heading over to the boys. “Once you’re done eating I’ll show you to your room, alright?”
They both nodded
but the oldest seemed like, physically off, a better look shows that he is incredibly pale and blue-ish compaired to his little brothers slightly tanned olive skin
and he was strangely shaky
He’d pause for a moment and he’d very gently put a hand on the older ones shoulder. “Are you alright,,? You seem cold,, can i get you something warm to wear,,? Maybe tea?” His voice was soft, very soft, his expression held genuine concern for the poor boys health
He jumped slightly and looked down at his hand and looked up at him, realizing this is an act of concern and affection and not mean, he relaxed a bit "I don't know I just feel,,,, gross,,,"
He’d pause and kneel down infront of him. “Oh dear,, mind if I take your temperature?,, id be very grateful if you ate first,, maybe it’ll help,, you both look rather,, thin,, maybe you’re hungry,,?”
He nods a bit "that makes sense, I'll try" he gave a slightly re-assuring smile
He’d gently pet his head. “Alright,, good,, ill find the thermometer,,” he’d get up and head back to the kitchen and started going through the cabinets
He tried to consume something and well
his poor little sibling is so concerned, because he honestly doesn't want *it* to happen again
Mendigo found a thermometer and headed over. “alright,, lemme check your temperature real quick,,” and if hes allowed to he does
