Lunapaw nudged her sister nervously, ‘do you think we’ll have to fight?’ she asked Duskpaw. Duskpaw nodded. ‘Today the battle will come, I want Brairflight, Hawkswoop, Breezefall, Iceskip, Pikestorm and all our apprentices, Dawnheart, if we need backup you must go back to camp and get more warriors to help us.’ Foxstar ordered. She flicked her tail and they walked out the camp and back to the clearing. ‘Fight or give it up.’ Asked Wren, who was the leader of their group. ‘We will fight.’ Foxstar responded. Lunapaw and Splashpaw leaped onto a large cream and black she-cat. Lunapaw dodged a swipe from another cat. ‘Dawnheart, get Hailspring.’ She screamed. Before Raven could do the killing bite, Splahpaw drove her away from Lunapaw. Hailspring came into the clearing Splashpaw lead Lunapaw to her. She could hear screams all around her. But then she saw Iceskips limp body. ‘Lunapaw stop wriggling.’ Hailspring told the orange and grey she-cat.
