Would be fun to reveal her real name in the story

Abi may also bring up the name of a character known as "Sylvie", who, well, I'll bring more details into because it's really funny to hear Abi talk about them

And yeah, sure! I'm probably going to have Abi and Isfrid not travelling together but they both manage to run into each other at the same time So for external viewers, it would be as if they don't know each other

Oh yeah another small detail about Isfrid She. ALWAYS. Wears a winter hat, jacket, and pants. She also rarely likes to talk, but when she does she wears a scarf that covers her face It doesn't matter how hot it is outside, Isfrid will wear her winter clothing and not complain about it at all

Abi was awkwardly walking around the abandoned city, looking around at the place. "Holy hell, this place is a *dump*, I wonder what happened here" she muttered to herself. She carried a pack full of supplies, with a little potted plant sticking out of the water bottle holder instead. Despite seemingly wearing a mask, her voice was perfectly clear as she mumbled to herself. Isfrid was also exploring the city, but a lot more cautiously and more paranoid. She didn't have any supplies on her, but rather, instead had a large scythe slung across her back. She really didn't want to be here, but managed to accidentally discover this area, a better place to be than the miles of woods on almost all sides.

Despite Abi being relatively close to the convenience store, she had managed to get herself distracted by studying the vines and weeds growing between the cracks of the road and up the sides of the destroyed buildings. "Ooh, that is definitely poisonous" she studied the berries on one of the vines. "Sylvie would... Probably use them as wine and get even more drunk than normal. Yeesh" Isfrid spotted, from a distance, the broken-down sign of the convenience store. The lights flickered gently, and it drew her attention. She glanced around herself before skuttling off to see what the sign was advertising.

Abi seemed to sense something, tilting her head and looking around. "I could have sworn I heard something around here earlier..." Isfrid looked at the rickety, broken glass door of the convenience store, moving it open with the creak that comes from unoiled hinges. She winced slightly from the noise, putting a hand reflexively on the handle of her scythe. Abi, hearing the noise, as she was relatively close to the convenience store, slowly started to walk over to that direction

Isfrid seemed pretty on edge of her surroundings, but slowly relaxed her grip on the scythe. She looked around, her gaze lingering on where the two were hiding before turning away. She seemed interested in the food that normally was close to the cash register, or rather, a small Hershey bar half-hidden under one of the packaging boxes. Abi, well, didn't really have as much of the caution Isfrid had. Despite being pretty much unarmed, she just waltzed through the middle of the street to stare through the glass at Isfrid, who hadn't noticed her yet

Abi glanced around, almost as if she had heard them, before shrugging and staring at Isfrid. "Oh my god that hat is ADORABLE-" Abi pretty much had no caution, and honestly seemed to be having fun in this dangerous environment. Isfrid full-on jumped in the air upon hearing Abi. She almost tripped over her own feet, before resting a hand on the counter, fully turning around to see Abi, who was clearly pleased with herself and the jumpscare

It was a little odd on how Abi commented on the hat, despite wearing a blindfold, but Isfrid was a little busy staring in shock at Abi's sudden arrival to notice

Abi glanced around again before returning her attention to Isfrid. "Sorry about scaring you there, you just are the first human I have seen in aaaages in this place. My name's Abi by the way!" Her voice seemed a little pinched and a little flat-toned, but she seemed pretty happy otherwise. Isfrid blinked at Abi twice, still a little shocked at the fact that Abi just announced herself in the weirdest way possible. She pulled her scarf over her mouth and waved at Abi timidly

Abi turned to stare at the area which the noise came from. "Hello? Hey look, more people! Helloooo? I know you are there-" she took a wide berth around the area of the noise, examining it. Isfrid didn't really move, huddled against the counter, and took the opportunity to snatch the chocolate bar

Abi just being loud and storming everywhere and Isfrid is just like oh my god help what is going on)) "Ooh people! Two new ones, what's your names?" Abi tilted her head, speaking clearly and staring at the two perfectly, despite wearing a blindfold. Isfrid slowly opened the chocolate bar and just slid it up underneath the scarf to eat it. She was a little bit intimidated by the sheer number of people suddenly here.

Abi snorted in laughter, shaking her head. "Heh- you two clearly are siblings alright. What are you two doing here?" Isfrid re-adjusted her scarf, pinning it in place over nearly the entire lower half of her face. "H-hello?"

Abi tilted her head and looked around at the area. "For FUN? This place is, what I'd call a mess. Though I can't blame you, I'm travelling for... plants... because SOMEONE back home keeps learning to make wine with everything I plant" Abi grumbled loudly. Isfrid waved at them, trying to slowly edge around Abi to make her way into a different part of the convenience store, looking for something to drink.

Abi snorted. "Try dying on the couch when a drunken goofball decides to make too much coffee and almost squishes you" Isfrid found an old six-pack of Sprite, pocketing it away in her nearly empty pack. She adjusted her scarf to be tighter, squinting at the others

Abi shrugged. "Yeah, basically. Plants and food. Thankfully, Sylvie is hopefully getting more into teas, so as long as anything gets her off wine, I'm happy" Isfrid almost winced a bit as if she detected that she was being watched and looked around timidly.

Abi shrugged, yawning quietly. "Yeah. I got a lot of work I need to do, along with contacting Azren, for once this area is silent" Isfrid looked around again before shrugging quietly and going back to combing through the store, trying to find unexpired food items. She seemed to be pretty interested in the sweets though.

Abi's head tilted, and despite her blindfold, she still managed to glance perfectly in his direction. "Hello"

She nodded. "While it may be the shorthand for my name, it's a lot more convenient than my full name." Cue Isfrid grabbing sugary treats montage

"Full name is reserved for close friends" Despite being blindfolded she almost seemed to wink at him. Isfrid slowly peeped out from behind the corner to stare at the interaction. She wanted to socialize too, and it seemed that maybe this group could be friendly?

Abi nodded. "Secrecy purpose too, Az would be pretty pissed if I gave my name out to any stranger, it's one of the things I said to limit giving out" Isfrid blinked at Austin. 'Uh- you got something on your face -"

"Who doesn't?" Abi snorted quietly. Oh she had secrets alright, and she also knew that the other girl, Isfrid, was definitely hiding a major one. Isfrid laughed quietly under her breath, adjusting her scarf to cover her mouth better. She would only ever speak with her scarf covering the lower half of her face.

Abi nodded, looking around the area and sighing. "Well, for freedom and getting Sylvie off alcohol, it's time to learn how to survive out without civilization. Isfrid had filled her pack with whatever non-expired sweets and drinks she could get her hands on. She had nothing healthy to sustain herself, just the sugary snacks.

Abi tilted her head at the two. It was an odd habit, but almost as if she used it to replace a stare, due to her blindfold on her face. "Mind if I travel with you too? I'm sure she'll want to, too" Abi gestured at Isfrid, who still seemed timid despite owning a scythe

Abi chuckled a little bit. "Ah, siblings. You two get along quite well" Isfrid slowly walked up to stand next to Abi. Isfrid was quite short compared to Abi- Isfrid was 5'3" while Abi was a little over 6 feet tall

Abi snorted. "Comes with the genetics. As - well- most things do. Too bad I didn't get better eyes" she joked Isfrid had to look up to see Abi's face lol

"I'm not thaaat weird, aren't I?" She joked again. Isfrid crossed her arms and looked a bit pouty. She was still short.

Abi snorted, tapping her mask slightly. "Not even sick and I wear this all the time" Isfrid glanced back at Navine suspiciously

Internet garbage, out in a log cabin rn so aaa)) Abi nodded. "Everyone has their own little things" Isfrid blinked at him, waving back.

Abi tilted her head at them again. It was pretty much impossible to read her facial expressions since both her eyes were covered and her mouth, but she still managed to look confused at the two. "Whatcha doing?" Abi asked

Abi would be pretty fine with sitting back and watching the show of the two annoying each other, pretty entertained. Isfrid was slowly watching the sun set, staring out th window of the store

Abi sighed. "Thought so- of course this place is abandoned for a reason." Isfrid was silent again. She remembered that something else was following her as she ran into the town for cover. It most likely wasn't the same monster, but two is just twice as bad. Isfrid sighed to herself

Abi groaned quietly. "How about we all do it together before we all manage to die. I am not in the mood to become actually dead." Isfrid had frozen in a corner, not moving

Abi had boarded off other windows and was full-on pushing one of those aisle shelves to the door. "Well, if someone could help me with this, it would be beneficial." Isfrid had moved to the back storage room, blocking off the entrances which were used for transporting goods into the store.

Abi made sure to angle it to block off as much if the front door as possible. "So, what's this type of monster that you've seen at night?" Abi whispered

There was a small yelp from the back storage room as Isfrid was jumpscared by whatever had been following her for the past month, before it was cut off abruptly.

Abi glanced warily towards the back of the room. "I'll finish blocking this up-" In the back storage room, it was dark. The lights had been turned off. If looking at the ground, Isfrid would be nowhere to be seen. Though, looking up would be a different story. With the darkness of the turned off lights, the only thing that could be spotted was an absolutely massive midnight-black shape, balancing on something that couldn't be seen with the low light. It couldn't have entered through the doors- but the ceiling was a different story. It had snuck in through a hole in the ceiling earlier, then patched it up so nobody could suspect it was there from the moonlight's glow. Isfrid could be blurrily seen, in one of the creature's arms, as her blue attire and bright orange hat wasn't the most camouflaged thing of all time.

There was a shifting noise as the large being moved. There seemed to be a large monstrous head, eight glowing red eyes staring down, along with what seemed to be a smaller head. The smaller one was positioned far above the larger one, and seemed human, besides the fact it also had eight red eyes and a glowing red pentagram, point pointing down, on the forehead. "Hmm?" A distorted voice echoed down from the ceiling. As they shifted, a massive scythe blade, what seemed to be the end joint to a spider-like leg, reflected the red light of their eyes

There was a loud thump as the creature jumped down from the ceiling, along with some protesting noises from Isfrid as she was jostled. With the light from the doorway, the creature could be seen more clearly. The creature had the top half of a female person, appearing around in her mid-twenties. She had long black hair and had eight eyes on her face, two where normal human eyes would be, while there were three around them. She wore a black leather shirt with iridescent spider silk patterning it. Attached to her waist, where her legs would have be, was the body of an absolutely massive black spider-larger than even a horse. the spider body had a skull pattern on the back, with large spikes poking out of various spots, silk and jewelry decorating them. The front spider legs ended in massive scythe blades, almost as tall as a person. Attached to the spider body was a spider head like a normal spider would have- except to scale for the massive body. It was still to scale, and had massive fangs, dripping ve

dripping venom* Abi heard the noise from the front of the store, and froze for a few seconds. "Well sh-. I'm just going to pretend I heard nothing and finish this up-" She used her strategy of ignoring the problem to fix another problem as she finished moving the remaining aisles into place.

"Humans- Well, human and monster human or whatever, I can hear you, you know." The spider woman walked in their direction, staring at the door into the storage area. "I hate how small these doors are designed. Not in the mood to bring down a building, hold still" She addressed Isfrid, setting her down for a moment. Isfrid didn't move, staring at the spider woman. The spider woman shifted, and with a puff of black smoke, reverted to looking like a human. They still wore their typical attire, though they now seemed to be wearing a dress.

"I mean, I am quite hungry" she grinned at them, revealing pointed fangs before turning to Isfrid. In her human form, she was even taller than Abi, so isfrid was quite short in comparison "Oh my satan I just realized how short you are. Awww, so cute. Haha, boop" The spider lady got herself slightly distracted by poking Isfrid on the nose before ruffling her hair.

Isfrid crossed her arms, looking quite pouty, before turning back to the spider woman. "Mercrei. You never told me you were. That." Mercrei (the spider woman) laughed loudly. "Sorry, little one, I just had-" "-a hot ah- devil on your mind?" Isfrid finished Mercrei's sentence. "Why yes. And she does have a VERY hot a-" "MERCREI" The two went back and forth in conversation, as if they knew each other

"Oh no you two don't -" Mercrei turned towards them while simultaneously sticking a business card to Isfrid's face. "Isfrid, go give this to the black - dressed woman. You two-" she pointed at Navine and Austin "-stop trying to run away, lest you trigger my instinct to tear your throats out" Isfrid quickly scampered out of the storage room and to Abi

"Mmmm seems close enough to me" All eight of her eyes blinked at the two. There was a clearly audible "WHAT THE HELL" as Abi examined the business card before, with absolutely no care for the fact she was walking towards a monster, stormed back to Mercrei with Isfrid skittering after her. "Boys, move it-" Abi glared at Austin and Navine. "Have to talk to the spider"

Abi's conversation could still be heard from the distance they were at "What do you MEAN the archdevil wants to see me again? I already made a deal with her, dang it, what now?" Abi asked "She's interested in your services" Mercrei responded Abi was silent for a moment. "Well, why didn't SHE come to see me here instead? Tell her I'll contact her once I'm done here" "Well, devils can't come to the mortal world unless summoned. And there may be a second reason that involves me-" Isfrid randomly burst into cackling laughter after hearing what Mercrei said. She seemed a lot more confident around the spider woman, surprisingly. "Oh dear God I hope nobody understands why this is so funny" she chuckled

"Isfrid!" Mercrei called at her, making Isfrid finally stop laughing. Mercrei shook her head. "Anyways, thanks for telling me you will contact her... once you are done here-" She looked around at the odd group they had, before she started to laugh. "Oh sweet Satan, holy hell what is this bunch of you. So many secrets each of you have! It's quite amazing! Hah! I could kill you if I wanted-" She glanced at Navine- "but that commotion may draw what's outside, and I'm too lazy to actually fight. I'll just sit back in the storage room and watch what's to come, hah!"

Mercrei sat back on a box in a relaxed position. "I'm going to stare at all of you for the rest of the night. If you want sleep, go ahead." She grinned at them. "Besides, what's this big scary monster outside? I am wayyyy too lazy to go scrying right now- oi, Isfrid, cmere-" Mercrei casually grabbed Isfrid's arm and pulled Isfrid over to her, starting to braid her hair.
