i havent seen somebody who draws thick legs + ankles in a while so i kninda guessed that
shapes, for the chest i use squares, fr the waist i use a rectangle, curved at the chest square to make it look more normal. circle for the head, sometimes squares, long ovals for the legs and arms, and once again squares for the hand
