Sirens' hair are always white, mermaids' hair is rarely white unless part Siren or a birth defect. Sirens usually come in red or green scales while mermaids have blue, red and green. Sirens' dorsal and arm fins are longer and sharper to improve speed, like a shark. They are usually covered in more spikes to scare off small fish and sometimes sharks. Sirens' architecture consists of shark bones and sunken and crashed ship pieces, along with dead clams and other mollusks. Mermaids don't swim very fast but they're better at camouflage than Sirens and tend to visit the shore more often. Their architecture consists of pearls, and seashells found either on shore or at the bottom of the ocean. Mermaids love to sing but they don't host choirs of singers like the Sirens.
