“Lung?!” He walk confused,desperately trying to understand.

“Shit!” He hissed, picking Lucas up and running to the bathroom, he sat him on the sink and when through the cabinet, hissing and yelling as he looked for something to help him.

((Ah I see, then they gon fly den)) “GHAH!” He had hit his head on the counter top before lifting his head, and quickly taking Lucas in arm once again. He ran out into the hall way and dashed at the open window that concluded the hall. Silen leaped out, quickly opening his wings and the wind pressure forcefully brought them up, he flew in the direction of the hospital. ((So like, I can see Silen always flying lucas places because, well, since the child seems like he has trust issues, no busses or trains. Just sky))

He made it to the hospital, landing beside the medical helicopter, and quickly ran it, two security guards attempted to stop him but he was p I s s e d and s c a r e d, he rand in between them and made it to the emergency level where he yelled at the receptionist. She called the doctor.

The doctor came out, eyes widening as he saw Lucas and the condition he was in, he quickly grabbed a stretcher and told Silen to place him there,. Silen did as told. The doctor, followed by a few other nurses took Lucas, while five other doctors had to keep Silen from following.

Silen’s wings dropped as he watched them take him into the elevator, his eyes wide in fear and worry as he mentally convinced himself that everything was going to be ok, the Doctors dragged the stubborn bird father into the waiting room and the nurses that surrounded Lucas began taking his temperature, getting his heart rate and checking his eyes and throat.

((Inhales and peaks over counter *may time skip, I have no idea how to work the rest of the doctory shtuf, I’m a witch.. I don’t know surgery stuff or doctors stuff.. I only know spells , remedy’s, herbs, spirits, hex’s and curses .-.))

Silen’s foot had been tapping and his younger brother , Erin, sat beside him, trying to reassure him everything was gonna be ok.

He looked at the doctor, dark circles under his eyes and his eyes red, showing he had rubbed them a lot, and a sign he was tired, “..?”

He leaped from his seat, “..wh....what the hell is that supposed to mean then..?” Rage tinted his eyes along with a growing fear.

His wings dropped,his eyes went soft as he smiled slightly, “o-ok- thank you,” Erin got up, “now, I finally get to meet this nephew of mine”

Silen nodded

Silen slowly walked to the bed before nearly collapsing halfway there, Erin quickly grabbed his arm and sat him down, “I told you to take a nap while we were waiting...” Erin huffed “I had too much on my mind ok..” Silen grumbled back at him.

Silen smiled over at Lucas, “I am,” Erin gazed at him before his emotion changing, “I- uh- I have work” he walked out quickly, Silen looked at him in confusion. ((Brb)j

“Understood..again, Thank you.” Silen sighed,

He glanced at him, smiling.

“Morning kiddo..” he spoke softly.

He smiled back grabbing his hand and rubbing it as tears brimmed his eyes.

“I- I love you too kid...” he sobbed silently but happily.

He looked at him and laid his head, exhaustion flooding over him.

He fell asleep as well,

Silen lifted his head, humming, “o-oh, yes..of course” he grabbed the clip board and plucked a feather from his wing, and grabbed a ink jar and dipped the feather in it, and began signing.

“Alright,” he nodded

“Ok, thank you,”

He sighed, and looked at Lucas,

He smiled, laid his head back, he slid down in his chair.

“Huh..?” He sat up before realizing and getting up to dim the lights

((Shut the door and turn the lights down lowwww *Nearly dies while trying to make country accent)) “I’ll do it- it’s fine, but thank you,” he replied kindly,

Silen gently picked up Lucas and placed him on the wheelchair.

He put the oxygen mask on him, “better?”

“Good,” he smiled before adjusting everything to Lucas’s comfort, “there, ready?”

He pushed the wheelchair out of the room,

“Hm...” he slowly waddled back into the room, pulling the wheel chair back into the shade of the room. “One second,”

He lifted his wing over the wheelchair making a small canopy over Lucas, shading him from the lights.

“Now are we ready?” He chuckled

“As you say captain!” He smiled, and pushed the wheelchair back into the hall,

He patted his back gently, “calm down, take it easy.”

“Ok,” he sighed

“Yes kiddo, let’s go,” he pushed him into the elevator,

He smiled, after the elevator stopped and Silen pushed the wheelchair out, then remembering he didn’t bring the car. “...I-“

“Oh- nothing. Everything’s ok” he sighed

“Uh....I can’t keep anything from you huh,” he sighed softly and chuckled, “I’ll check with Silvia to see if she can pick us up.” He took out his phone,

“Yeah!” He smiled, the phone rang, “we’ll look at that, speed of the devil,” he laughed, and answered, “Hello?” He hummed “I HEARD FROM ERIN! IS LUCAS OK!?” Silvia scram into the phone, Silen took the phone form his hear, looking as if his ear now hurt as he waited for her to silence

“OH MY BABY! YOUR OK! THANK THE GODS! OH MY SWEET BABY BOY! IMMA SPOIL YOU ROTTEN WHEN YOU GET HOME!” She cried happily, ((I can picture her seeing her as a son but she know Silen gay so like, they have the mother father relationship but like at the same time not?)) Silen sighed, smiling softly.

“Well.. they just meant you’ll recover faster then others,” Silen hummed,

“Alright kiddo. Hey Silvia- can you pick me and the little man up?” Silen asked, “Yeah, ok- I’ll be right there” Silvia chirped and hung up.

He sighed, and rolled the wheel chair over to a bench in the lobby, and sat there,

“She’ll be here in afew minutes, you can take a nap,”

“I- she may be a witch but she can’t teleport!” He nervously waved his hand.

He groaned, “c’mon buddy,”

“Please, c’monnnnnnn”

“Aaaaaaaa” he melted off the bench,

He popped his head up, before handing him his phone, “here, this’ll help pass the time,”

“Mhm,” He smiled

Ruffled his hair and sat back down, sighing as he looked out the window

No- they were about to leave but after Silen remembered , no car. He want back inside))

“Hm? WHOA! great gob little guy!” He chuckled and ruffled his hair,

“Be patient” he sighed

“...low battery I presume?” He mumble jokingly, not referring to the phone

He chuckled before taking of his jacket and placing it over him,

He smiled softly at him and sighed,

Yesh)) Silvia had arrived and picked them up, not long after they made it home, Silen put Lucas in his room and placed a bell system next to him, 5 bells one for emergency’s, one for if he was hungry or thirsty, one if he was in pain, of for if he was bored, and one for if he needed anything extra like toys or Silen’s phone.

Silen was down stairs talking to Silvia

One of the read, ‘when you wake up, ring this one’ a small yellow one laid infront of the 5 others.

Silen immediately poked his head in the door way,

“Oh!” He walked over to him and took out a small pill form a bottle and grabbed a bottle of water, “here this is for the pain,” he hummed, and handed him the pill.

“I-“

He chuckled as laid next to him, cloaking him in his wings.

“Yeah. HEY SILVIA,” He called out for her, she walked in “hm.”

“Awww, my baby,” she smiled and sat next to them on the bed, “how’s the brave little man doing?” She purred,

She sighed “alright,” she laid down and silen pulled them both into a hug, small happy chirps cold be heard from him.

She smiled and began humming a soft tune. Silen seemed to be dozing off as she hummed.

She watched them both fall asleep, she smile and kissed Lucas’s head, and Silen’s forehead before slowly snaking off the bed and walked out

Silen slowly woke up, but to a massive headache with an unknown origin, ((Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no.. Imma just put a twisty here 🙃))

He let out a soft grumble, not moving though, so he wouldn’t wake him.

He looked at him before stretching, opening his wings wide with a big yawn before wincing and laying back down with a loud huff,

“Nothing kid... just a small headache,”he hummed groggily,

“M..mhm”

He sighed and wrapped a arm around him

“I..” he glanced around, “she probably went home to take care of her fox” he hummed,

He’s chuckled softly

“I know, but she’s very busy, not only with the fox but with work. you’ll see her tonight,” he reassured him.
