please make sure that you aren't overusing the common trope of depression, PTSD, and/or anxiety. there are other disorders that branch off of trauma experiences, such as; personality disorders, ASPD, eating disorders and many others.
you can use the common tropes, just please do your research, because most of the time, yall don't.

please try to explore the reactions and/or emotional responses to certain things that relates to your character's trauma. they can either be defensive, attacking, fleeing, etc.
look at the types of behaviour that may be a result to the trauma, don't always use the overly sad trope.
twist and distort their point of view with the world or within views.

please understand that because you've experienced it, doesn't mean you don't have to do any research or anything. there are many possibilities and outcome to the trauma that you or your character has or will be going through. please do research even so.
