( the main character is a rattlesnake because i said so ) I hid behind a rock like always as all the other creatures had a fun christmas. I never get presents because everybody says im rude. I dont care! i dont need rocks and dead bugs anyway. The tree is always so bright. I slither into the darkness, my tail shaking like a maraca behind me. I wake up to the sound of gunshots. Loud and booming. a human. a hunter. looking for money. And animals are money. I speed away to the shadows. A lonely secret, in the darkness.
