The man growled. “Piss of!” He hissed as Hannah was trembling.

He growled at Maru, taking his kind and stabbing Maru in his side.

“Agh!” He groaned in pain before falling down. Hannah crunched up in the corner, whimpering quietly.

“L- let me go!” She growled at the man, trying to push him off, but the man held the knife to her neck making her freeze. “Shut up.”

The man let go of Hannah. “Piss off.” He growled at Kayla, pushing her to the ground.

He grunted in pain, holding his arm away from her. “Just leave. This isn’t your business anyway.” He growled, grabbing Hannah’s hand.

He growled before starting to run off, pulling Hannah with him.

He grunted, pushing her into Hannah before running off. Hannah fell on the ground, hitting her head and felt blood on her forehead.

Hannah hugged her tightly, whimpering as her ears were pinned against her head.

“I- I was heading home when he suddenly g- grabbed me a- and he t- threatened m- me.” She closed her eyes as she held onto her.

“Don’t kill someone just because of me.” She looked away.

She whimpered quietly, still looking away.

“Y- yeah.” She stood up slowly, her tail wrapping around herself.

“Okay, let me take you there.” She spoke, grabbing her hand and leading her to her house,

“Yeah.” She nodded, leading her to a neighborhood.

She led her to a house that had two floors, taking out a key and unlocking the door.

“Yeah you can.” She responded, opening the door and letting her come inside.

She walked into the living room, a bottle of wine sitting on the table. *Must’ve been Lio* she thought, sighing.

“Thanks.” She mumbled, slightly smiling at her.

“Oh! I can get you some food if you want.” She spoke, lettting go of her hand and walking to the kitchen.

She handed her a banana, her tail swaying slowly.

“Uh- no I didn’t.” She spoke, taking another banana for herself.

“Agh.” He grunted from the claw, “Get off!” Hannah looked at him, feeling a bit of guilt in her stomach. “Get off of him now Lucinda.”

He stood up and went back into his human form before walking away. Hannah sighed, grabbing the knife he had and out it in her pocket.

“Geez. Calm down.” She sighed, looking away from her in nervousness, feeling weak and tired.

“I have my own house that I can go to.” She felt her ears pinned against her head, feeling like an idiot.

Hannah rolled her eyes, slightly smiling at Lucinda.

Hannah walked into her room, not saying anything as she looked down.

“No.” She responded, scratching the back of her head.
