This is a serious topic I'm talking about here and it is annoying to see comments like this.

Frankly, I don't care if this site doesn't care for serious topics like suicide and depression. I want people to know that they are loved and that there is help. And, any website can have serious topics. It just depends on how people react to it or if they even want to acknowledge the topic how it should be. This website is probably dominated by elementary through highschool students that don't even know what depression actually is. The people on this site don't take serious topics seriously so this site doesn't address the topics. In this case, someone made a joke about donating cars to children on a post telling people they shouldn't kill themselves.

I know people know what depression is. A lot of people joke about killing themselves as if it is a problem when it is. I know what depression is because some of my family struggles with it and once I witnessed my brother almost kill himself. I understand that people don't want to talk about their problems on this site. And I understand that people hide their problems with memes and jokes. I understand this site is not for therapy and that some people have very bad depression. I understand that this is irrelevant to you because you are probably older and a bit wiser than me. I don't, however, understand how it is a problem that I put this post here for people that need it. This post is for those that want to go through with killing themselves, hence the number. I don't know what I was expecting from this post, mostly, I think I was expecting comments like yours and other hate comments. I didn't(?) expect a comment about donating cars to children lmao is that even a thing? Well, maybe I did idk
