Linki know its selfish and i want to be emotionally close with my friends but i think theres something fundamentally wrong with me because i just cant bring myself to care. i care about them but i also just dont care. you know. and idk how to stop feeling like that

Linkfor eel tho im over it now. i love my friends tjey mean everything to me and they do a lot for me but sometimes u can hate things the ppl u love do and thats ok and healthy.

one of these days they sent me a "suicide note" or something of that nature and ((didn't die)) kept posting stuff and even liked some of mine and my aunt's stuff
she hasn't talked to me since i think it's pure embarrassment

oh ur def not unreasonable w that if they are spontaneously venting when the vibe of the group is like miles away from it it’s perfectly normal to feel like um why r u saying this rn
like I WOULD say ohhh set boundaries u need to tell them ur not comfortable w them complaining like that and dragging the mood down or like ask if they can before they drop sum. but ik some ppl overreact a lot to things like that like getting all sad n thinking u hate them so I don’t rlly have advice but ur feelings r valid I’ve experienced that 💔💔
be careful whatever u do tho depending on their personality bc ive had to deal w people like that multiple times and like. like it got so bad to the point i had to cut them off b/c they would threaten their life and rlly overreact whenever u brought it up even gently so I hope ur not in a situation like that..
As mean as it may be, you should definitely tell them how u feel about it cause that sounds really awful (sorry to them 🙏🏻) to have to deal with all the time. Definitely 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 tell them to ask before venting bare minimum, u shouldn't have to play therapist (sorry again my wording sucks ass) every time u guys talk

Call it rude but if it'd really hurt them THAT badly you could (hear me out here) tell them you're being vented to a lot by other friends and want to be asked first before ur vented to now just in case (like. Because of the "others") or something along those lines to spare their feelings. Maybe
