LinkWell, to start off, blood beasts are a species of mine. They’re what my stories are mainly about, and they make up a large majority of my ocs.
Bloodbeasts are sentient humanoid creatures that exist in their own universe. They had gotten to the “Main” universe through Ruins, which, when supplied with the proper energy, Could open portals to other universes.
Both my oc’s Ryan and J are bloodbeasts. (The only two I know that I’ve drawn on here, I have many more)
The biggest differences are that bloodbeasts, unlike humans, can (Normally) regenerate almost every part of their body. The few parts they cannot regenerate are their “Soul” and certain weak points(Which is specific to beast type)
Rather than having a heart and a brain, bloodbeasts have a single organ that serves as both, called a “Soul”
Bloodbeasts also have “Beast Types” or more often called “Tiers”. Each Teir is a different type of elemental “Magic”, and every tenth tier is an “Overarching” tier that has the abilities of more than just one of the 9 tiers beneath it.
Along with this, each bloodbeasts body is mainly made out of these elementals, and they have the ability to control-
While it is true that bloodbeasts all have their own talents within their fighting capabilities, some of these talents are more rare than others. And some are notably uncommon.. that’s why there will be a few categories to the special abilities. There is (D) Level abilities. D’s are classified simply by This: If you have an (M) level ability, then these abilities come with that skill.
(M) level abilities are abilities that can be learned by almost any beast, if they put An excruciatingly excessive amount of effort into obtaining it.
(S) level abilities are abilities that are obtained only through genetics. Meaning that you have to be born with this ability.
(Z) level abilities are the rare among the rare. They’re classified by only belonging to specific types of bloodbeasts with the specific details to have or even use these abilities. Or only 1-10 bloodbeasts have ever Been known to posses these abilities and wield them properly.
And finally.
(E) level abilities are abilities that are rendere-
(E) Overdrive Form- This is an ability you often hear in myths of the oldbeasts. This ability allowed for a Bloodbeast to push beyond their limits, and live on without their soul untill they eliminate those who have the soul, or untill it gets the soul itself back into the body. This is considered extinct because there are no records of any beasts with this ability.
(Z) Hyper Beast forms - This ability is one that pertains to one’s beast form. A “Hyper” beast form is basically a second, much more powerful, much more advanced, beast form. Only a few people have been recorded to have this. But a few honorable mentions would be Jegard Oken, Wally Oken, and Yaerma Jesle. Jegard’s form being nicknamed “The Sun Golem”, Wally’s being dubbed “The Kraken”, and Yearma’s being dubbed “The Island airship”.
One of the most prominent complications is within the ten “Machine” tiers (It is called this because
Machine” is the overarching tier) Is the complication of “Rust”
Rust can affect a bloodbeast by making joint movement either impossible, or extremely painful. This condition can be specific to certain limbs or to the entire body. Though, often, the bloodbeast will die if it’s throughout the entire body.
Rust also weakens the bloodbeast, as the bloodbeast is incapable of regenerating rusted limbs.
People with rust usually don’t live long. This is caused by both the fact that rust weakens a bloodbeast, and also because the pain is described as so terrible that it often drives to bloodbeast to taking their own life just to end the suffering.
And no, rust is not curable in any way. Not yet Atleast.
