I will admit it's weird but my view is essentially that the anthropomorphic portion is what most people find sexually attractive anyway, the fact that they're human-like. Normal people like myself atleast. The animal-like attributes just make them unique and in that way appealing. I couldn't look at a 4 legged animal and think the same. Because it's not human shaped.
This is from the view of a sexual person (demisexual to be exact so I prefer personality anyway) so it'll likely differ from yours as aro/ace (if I'm correct).
Normal people draw femal anthros with human breasts, not teats, because of this. Of they draw teats its a red flag.
Because we're attracted to the human aspect but enjoy the unique look of anthros in comparison to people.
