Here it's actually easy to get popular by this site's standards, meaning max 2000 followers if you started from 0 right now On sites like Instagram there's a much bigger audience but the algorithms typically don't favor small creators so you will gain followers very slowly. On YouTube I've found if there's a high demand for a certain type of content, then you will get followers and commenters. Like I made countryballs animations for almost a year, got 418 subscribers, but it wasn't the type of audience I was trying to get. So I guess it depends on the goal
