The best part of internet it that you have a voice The worst is you have a voice We grow thinking we can become what we want and use the voice to let people hear us but they don’t It doesn’t matter if someone likes your post cause they don’t like it They need the validation so they give it to you so they can have it back We edit ourselves so we look the way people want us to It doesn’t matter People won’t care as long as they are getting cared for we need to be seen to be happy but we aren’t seen We want to show what we have but everyone also has it We stand on the stage of social media and perform Media eats it up and it makes us feel good We create curated fake versions of us to act no one is listening but as long as it’s liked we feel good It’s viewed and we’re happy

when I wrote this I was failing my term and I still am I wrote it because of the idea of smart I don’t try so I’m not smart The idea of smart is someone who passes but because I don’t try I don’t pass and because I don’t pass I’m an idiot we have a voice on the internet and when I used it to say this people didn’t listen They didn’t want to which makes sense This sounds like a vent I know but it’s not I’m saying what I see and what I see is people ignoring what they don’t like and eating up what they do It’s scary to see people let themselves go because the internet is giving away validation
