Linkfellas is it wrong to draw a character from a game or series you know nothing about and you just wanna draw them cause you like their design and can't be assed to learn all the lore
noe b cc one time i was obsessed w/ this one character design and i thought it waz someones oc or smth and i did fanart but then some dude was like "woh man i love ___ too!" and i waz all like "oh yeah rlly hes a cool oc." and the dud was leik "oc???" and he walked away and i question my whole life and existance itself and then i figurs it was vid game characer from a game i knew nothin abt B)
that's what i don't wanna happen i don't want people to be all "woah you're a _______ fan???" NO! i just think the characters are silly and fun to draw .....iont wanna have to go through a shit ton of lore just to be able to do that

LIKE RIGHT ****ING NOW HELPP đđ would be a regular seasonal thing all artists go through BUT ARGG HANG IN THERE I HOPE YOU'LL FIND YOUR ART STYLE THAT YOU'LL LIKE SOON ENOUGH đđ I do suggest making small sketches and doodles on parts of your art style you want to change or improve [ it's a 50/50 so don't expect it to work become a gambler ]

I do that too by using the said art style as a reference or making arrows on how the line curves are or something??? Like on how they go or if they're pointy etc
Usually helps because when you draw small arrows on somewhere specific you know how it flows or how the shape is supposed to be like

If your art style is mainly cartoony and stylished then sometimes the proportions don't even matter because when it comes to the really cartoony or stylished style you just go full crazy with it. Like if you intend your art style to absolutely be bathsit crazy then yeah reject the rules do you
Most artists have a semi-realist art style so sadly not to make it weird you need to pay attention to the proportions đ
BUTTT to try and help [ I did notice your art style is stylished with a hint of semi-realism ] you probably should start using more shapes or just use two shapes for a first??? Like. Keep using circling shapes but add tiny bit of triangle shapes as well?? May not make a difference but it will probably help with you getting used to drawing more than one shape
And that would still make a difference because!!!! Hey!!! You'd improve tiny bits and that's good
ido tjat when i actually draw.......in school and shit cause yknow i have to. not on here cause this place isn't worth that kinda effort so i draw for the sillies here. mad respect to anyone who can get their art to look good on here with how pitifully small the canvas is i cantdraw for SHIT on this thign
My school here has removed art classes so I don't have the opportunity to practice here âšī¸ but it's a good thing you get a class where you can practice with your art style [as long as the teacher is not those teachers who only want realism]
GOD DON'T REMIND ME I END UP MAKING ACTUAL ART ON HERE BECAUSE I'M SO USED WITH THE BRUSH FLIPANIM HAS đđ the flipanim brush just makes my cell shading look so ****ing awesome I can't even do that shading off-site and I'm crying my balls out
BUT YEAH I GET THAT IT'S REALLY HARD TO WITHDRAW FROM THE FA CANVAS AND ACTUALLY GO TO A BETTER ART APP
