Crystal grew scared as the two circled scowling at each other. She cooed to the dogs to follow, and so they did. They followed Crystal with their heads low and their tails between their legs.
Crystal made them lay down and huddle close together, as she heard noises of fighting outside. "Stay here.." she motherly ordered the dogs, they whimpered and a couple fell asleep as the others watched her intently.
Crystal looked outside the doorway, watching the two fight.
Snowball ducked as Napoleon angrily launched himself at him, Snowball bunted him off his hooves and then he circled him as Napoleon got to his feet once more. Napoleon charged and slammed into Snowball's side, throwing him off of his feet, he seen Napoleon coming and rolled quickly out of the way.
Napoleon skidded to a halt, knowing he missed his target, and ran towards him. Snowball lashed at him with hooves (or claws) hitting him, a little blood hit the snow as far as Crystal could see.
Finally Napoleon leaped on top of him and let his weig
weight pummel him to the ground. He held Snowball down and went for his eyes. Snowball pushed at his chest, lifting Napoleon up and trying to throw him off.
Napoleon seen the tiredness in Snowball's eyes and he smiled evilly,
he pushed Snowball's chest, making him go deeper as he panted tiredly trying to get Napoleon off.
Out of nowhere, Crystal yowled and leaped onto Napoleon's face, making him screech in pain as she dug her claws into his face. He backed up flailing his head around, trying to throw her off, but she wouldn't let go.
Finding new strength Snowball got up and made sure he was stable on his paws.
Napoleon suddenly somehow got a grip on her torso and flung her against a rock she fell passed out.
Snowball severely angry at this, leaped on top of Napoleon, he tried to hold him back in fear of Snowball now. Snowball bit the back of Napoleon's neck, and shook hard, like a dog.
He then let go, Napoleon coughed up blood and passed out. Snowball had no intentions to kill, but Napoleon was permanently wounded, it would give him a good scar, teaching him a lesson about undermining ones that are and will be stronger than he thinks.
Snowball's triumph and anger of finally defeating his opponent were gone as he ran to Crystal's side.
He stood over her and gently nuzzled her, trying to wake her up. He looked at her fearfully, trying to wake her.
After a bit she coughed, and looked around her eyes forming tears as she looked up at him. She was so weak, her legs shook of tiredness.
Snowball gently grabbed her and bring her into the barn.
he laid down and laid her next to him, she breathed heavily as she felt pain, her adrenaline decreased, and now it hurt even more she cried as her head pounded and her spine stung.
Snowball looked to the dogs. "Can you bring Napoleon in and make sure he doesn't try to hurt us?" the dogs nodded and some bounded out, while others just padded out.
They brang Napoleon in dropping him on some hay, not exactly too fond about his current health. They sat around him, now on their surrogate mother's side.
Crystal moaned in pain as she tried to see what was hurting. Snowball gently pressed his muzzle on her neck, making her lay her head down. "Let me make it feel better sweetie..." He gently licked her spine,
it was soothing for her, she quietly purred. Soon she fell asleep from his gentle grooming. Napoleon awoke feeling pain, he got up into a sitting position.
Snowball paid no attention to him, and kept grooming his love. Napoleon sat there, now aware his past servants could be the death of him.
