First of all I love you thanks for asking! My favorite backstory of the three is the cat GG’s! It ran away from its abusive home when Dr Robotnik attacked its city. Then it joined the resistance and became an elite soldier and is now fighting Dr Robotnik

That’s okay thank you for apologizing! Originally Speing (yellow squirrel) was meant to be my self-insert OC, but she changed into a sort of who-I-wish-I-was OC. Rocko (red goat) is really a golden retriever/gamer bf stereotype but I love him with all my heart, but originally he was edgier and was based off of a guy I knew. GG is the latest in a long line of what I like to call “what the heck is wrong with me OCs” where I just dump every thing I don’t like about myself into one character.

Yes! Making backstories is so fun, but I’m also leaving some parts open in case I think of something later, GG’s story is pretty set in stone, Spring has some basics, and Rocko is completely open. I have another OC, Blush, and she’s a mystery even to me. I guess it just depends on the character come to think of it, but I do hope to make full stories for them all someday!

I like to draw Spring the most! Rocko is very hard to draw for me, and GG’s hair and limbs are difficult. Spring is the easiest, and I also like her design the most.

That makes sense :3 Ok, I did say it was a swap so here’s mine. I call it a love triangle, but it’s not a conventional one. GG is actually aroace and believes all love will lead to ruin. Rocko is GG’s first and best friend, so they’re very close. When Rocko and Spring meet, they quickly fall in love, but GG is very against this because 1. Excuse me? That’s my red goat, 2. Love? In my general vicinity? I might throw up, 3. Spring is actually super cute and sweet so I don’t want her to be hurt either. Anyway, GG and Spring become close as well, meaning that all three are close with each other. But GG is still trying to break the other two up. A lot happens, there’s a whole plot, but at the end the moral of the story is that platonic relationships can be just as powerful and important as romantic ones, and all three of them get married!

I figured since it takes place in a fantasy world with animal people who have superpowers, poly marriage would be possible

GG the cat, it/its Rocko the goat, he/him Spring the squirrel, she/her (I have another character named Blush who isn’t in the love triangle. She/they) They live in a world where Robotnik is taking over the world and has succeeded very well so far, making it kind of apocalyptic. GG ran away from an abusive home and fiancé to join the resistance, Spring’s parents made her join because the resistance base is the only safe place left, and Rocko joined voluntarily as soon as he was old enough.

The love triangle dictates most of the emotional beats in the story, especially in the beginning. The early plot is mostly just the three of them training with the other recruits in the resistance base. The love triangle needs to be resolved before the three of them can work together well as a team, so once it’s resolved, they become an elite force that join the canon Sonic characters and defeat Robotnik! And I would love to write it! A comic would be the best but it’s also a lot of work. Just typing it up would be easier but also I do love comics and animations. I have an Instagram account for them that is just starting up @redspringgg where I plan to post the comic if I ever make it
