LinkFeeling suicidal? Take a Japanese ginger 5â3 one-eyed chubby lawyer gf
Ian sat and sulked on the sidewalk, a nearly empty bottle of alcohol in hand. He assumed his life couldn't get any worse by now. Really, was there any point for him to be here? He didn't think so.
Once he finally got a ride home, if his plan went well, he wouldn't see tomorrow.
Then again, his phone was dead. So it might've had to wait another day... or he could start getting creative.
He sighed, hoping just maybe someone would give him a reason not to, but had anything really gone right in his life lately??
A dazed look on his face, Ian turned to her. He was silent for a brief moment, but he replied,
"I'm alright ma'am... Just another drunk out on the street, I guess."
He gave a half-asses smile. At the moment, he wasn't even really *that* drunk. Buzzed was a better word.
Ian thought this lady was pretty... but he also thought what had to have been going through her head to stop for a drinking white man late at night.
"...Ian Rhodes. Wish we could have met under better circumstances, you seem very kind."
Too kind for a world like this, he thought.
Nonetheless, he had nowhere else to turn, so he may as well tell someone who may not chew him up for the decisions he made.
"I've just fallen victim to a broken heart. I'm sure you've heard that many times before."
hehe
Ian sighed,
"It doesn't even matter anymore... I blindly trusted her and all I have to show for it is a developing scar on my side where her husband stabbed me."
He chuckled, that sentence was still very bizarre to him. This had all happened too soon for him to be talking to a stranger about it. He could feel his eyes getting misty, so he turned away.
"Yeah, I'm alive." He adopted somewhat of a bitter tone, "And I wish I wasn't."
He turned to Setsuna, visibly holding back tears that he hadn't cried for days.
"I don't know you, so it feels somewhat alright if I say this, but the second I get a ride home, my time is up. I'm done. I just can't do this anymore. I didn't *want* to survive."
The words felt like acid on his throat, he hadn't spoken them to anybody.
He assumed she'd walk away. That'd be the reasonable option. Though, it was nice to talk to someone for a little while.
â....please donât do it. It...it might not feel like it right now, but...people care about and love you! And...you have. A WHOLE journey ahead of youâBelieve me when I say no matter your past, this canNOT be it, understand??? You might not know it yet, but....you have...SO much to live for...â
LITTLE DO THEY KNOW-
He wanted to refute every sentence that she said, but he had no energy. No effort into his words or even himself anymore.
Instead he asked a question with a wavering voice,
"Does anybody really care, or are you just saying that? I thought she was the person who cared the most and then she just... just discarded me like I was nothing."
He threw a hand over his face and looked down, it was becoming much more challenging to speak,
"Sh-She was supposed to save me."
He looked at her, eyes obviously glossy. Every part of him still wanted to go straight home and grab that revolver Oliver keeps hidden in his drawer, but regardless, he did pinky promise.
"...Thank you. I... I guess I needed to hear that."
do you think Sunset would ever look back on this day and think "wow, if i had kept walking, my soulmate wouldve died"
Ian gave another half-assed smile, but it did seem more genuine.
"Thanks again... M-Maybe I'll call you sometime."
He quickly let the tears that had built up fall, then wiped them away with another small chuckle.
He was silent for a second then realized he still needed a way home,
"Oh- uh... Is it okay if I borrow your phone? Mine's dead and I need a ride..."
"Yeah, sure."
It took him a second to remember the number, but he called Oliver.
A very distressed voice came on the other line and Ian sighed while answering numerous questions asked.
After Ian gave a good description of where he was he hung up and handed the phone back.
"My brother, man..." He sighed again, "He gets too protective."
Oliver gave a relieved sigh a warmly smiled,
"Thank heavens... Sorry. I've just been so scared for him lately because of... some personal issues," He blindly assumed Ian didn't say anything, "But thank you for keeping him company!"
Mr asshole over here, though,
"Clearly you were."
Ian retorted, "I'm a grown man, who cares?"
"WE care. If you haven't noticed, you're not at your best."
"Oh." He gave a half-assed chuckle, "Hudson, my twin. He's... not in a great mood."
Ian rolled his eyes, "Do you? All you've done for the past 2 weeks is yell at me. I'm not a ****ing child anymore, y'know."
"Yet you act like one." Hudson scoffed, "You need to get over this bullshit that's been bothering you. It's not even that serious."
i <3 making Hudson a douchebag
Oliver may have taken Setsuna's word, but Hudson was a bit more perceptive.
"Like hell you did." He narrowed his eyes, "Why would a random girl stop for a drunk dude in the middle of the night if he didn't look like he was on the verge of mentally losing it? I appreciate you feeding into whatever sob story he's given you, but now it's my turn to deal with him."
"Well I've never seen you before. Most of this guys' nights end on the streets, blackout drunk." He motioned to Ian at that, to which Ian gained a look of shame.
"Whatever. I don't have time for this. Get in the goddamn car, Ian."
Ian sighed and obliged, still internally hating the way Hudson treated him like a child.
Oliver very softly spoke to Hudson.
"Hud... She's a very nice young lady, can we not do this right now? She helped him out. That's all that matters."
alr
"I'll talk to him like an adult once he's made better decisions with his life. You don't know this man, and it's best you keep it that way. He's a self-destructive bastard that will only hurt you in the end." Hudson then turned and walked away.
Oliver scoffed and then went up to her
"Sorry... he's just... like that."
