there's many ways to be "good" in art, or the whole creative field i guess, since there's no an actual answer so there's many ways to be "better"

i guess if youre asking a specific person it's like, fine, since that pretty much means your goal is to do like how they have done, and they can tell you how to work towards them from where you are

but in other case, be specific, tell me what kind of artstyle youre going for, or maybe you wanna get better at anatomy or perspective, well, say that it's hard to solve a problem when the problem is vague

if you dont know where youre weak point is, maybe try pick a direction and work on that first

nice, i can tell who youre drawing just by the first glance and that's pretty important for making fanart

i only take art for one semester in high school and my tought process when i making stuff is just "oh this look good here let's do this" so im not really a good person to ask for advise and please do not use what i edited as reference, went throgh it without much thinking cus it just for demonstration

to uderstand perspective still the most important for making things not flat tho, and if you understand the idea, you'll be able to make your own when there's no exact refference (this go for every other skills, i guess) good perspective make depth and volume and that pretty much = not flat
