My top 5 songs are provider, ascensionism, jericho, vore and infinite baths go listen to them
Or listen to the tmbte or eia albums they’re probably the best (even though all of their music is fire there’s not one I don’t like)
I had dreamed that I was in a facility where every night a man would be put into a cave and would do something that nobody else did to keep the world in order/keep everything and the universe from dying but I found out later that he was supposed to have been set free years ago so the world could die and he was actually a corpse that they reanimated with injections

They’re branches and stuff. I think one of sleep’s powers is to manifest things like that. In the graphic novel, he has tendrils and forms these weird fleshy things that grab onto people and kill them similar to the video. Also he creates these things called “Eden creatures” which I’m pretty sure is what the alien thing in the video is

If you want to hear any heavier music at all I can give some suggestions. I like a lot of atmospheric black metal, blackgaze and dsbm, as well as deathcore and occasionally death metal. But it’s understandable if you don’t 😌
My favourite black metal track at the moment is “moonspell and grief” by Grima, they’re a Siberian band. I also really like “for the god below” and “snart är dom alla borta” by shining, a pretty popular Swedish dsbm band.
I’ve heard of underoath but never fully listened, my auntie has a poster of them. They sound very metalcorey

Wooo I love ghost. I had vip barricade tickets (€500 btw 🪦) to their latest tour and it was the best show I’ve ever been to. If it wasn’t for them I probably wouldn’t have discovered sleep token 2 years ago lol

Yes bro it was insane. My favourite ghoul, phantom, aka the rhythm guitarist, WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME THE ENTIRE TIME. We interacted so much it was insane. And I was among the first people to hear the song peacefield (it was the first date of the tour, before the new album released) and see papa V in person. He literally knelt down directly in front of me and started singing Mary on a cross I was in tears. I’m also in the peacefield music video, as well as in one of the ghoulbanger balls (just in the background of an interview, but still insane). It was a sold out show and you weren’t allowed to bring your phones into the stadium to record, I was frfr just living in the moment it was epic
Ghost are probably second to sleep token for me. I know all their lore, and can tell ghouls apart from every era. It’s an acquired skill
Oh yeah we also got free vip stuff which was awesome, so I have some limited ghost memorabilia. My friend was also at the show, but he got seated tickets. But he told me I was on the screen a couple times which is so cool

Yeah that’s understandable. They share a lot of their fanbase with sleep token fans, because they’re both masked bands with lore. But ghost are very different. Tobias Forge is very open with the fans and he’s not always in character, he does interviews and more. It’s all just fun and games, but with sleep token everything is very distant and seems more serious. So I do like ghost a lot, mainly because of their vibes. But I prefer sleep token’s music

My favourite ghost album is meliora, I was quite young during that era so never got to see the character “Terzo” and the old ghouls live, or experience the fandom at that point. I was too busy being a cringy kid who’s favourite band was Hollywood undead (still lowkey love them don’t tell anyone). But still, I think that era is definitely my favourite. I also like the first album, opus eponymous:D

Yeah, they definitely started with a more harder sound but recent stuff has been softer. Especially the impera album where darkness at the heart of my love is from. The most recent album, skeleta, is very 80s sounding and uses a lot of synths. Each album is supposed to represent the personality of the character Tobias forge is playing during that “era” if that makes sense

Okay so “thread the needle” from the first ep. Firstly, because it resonates with me a lot. I always think that because sleep token songs are so applicable to others situations and allow others to project themselves onto them, there will always be at least one song you can relate to, if you get what I mean. For me, that’s this song because DAMN have I never had a song with lyrics that perfectly describe some of my issues. It’s kind of the same with me for this other song by them called “high water”, but that one’s lyrics are super depressing so I’m not sure you’d wanna listen to it. Secondly, they played it at my ritual last weekend it was on the set list. It was so crazy because it seemed like I was the only one who knew the lyrics in my area (it’s from the first ep like I said, not many people have listened to them or like them) and it was just an insane moment, you know? Anyways so yeah thread the needle

And it bangs even harder live because ii does his drum solo in only the live versions (which I think I’ve explained already idk). Also “look to windward” is the first track of the new album and it’s just insane. They’ve been opening with it for all the rituals for their new tour and it’s so perfect 10/10 song

It’s sick. I don’t really know how to explain it but the narrative is told kind of weirdly. The illustrated panels don’t have any speech, just imagery and onomatopoeia. But it basically mainly follows a character called “the director” (he’s part of the lore and stuff) and after every chapter there’s a written log by him, detailing the general goings on, if that makes sense. It’s super cool, and it ends with some really cryptic stuff that made me really confused but theorists had a field day with it

I think gundam is super cool! I’m not too into it, mainly because I find it difficult to get into a lot of anime, but I used to watch episodes when I was younger. I just always preferred transformers. There’s a super geeky shop in my town that sells a bunch of gundam figures and I always stare at them for a bit before tip toeing away to the transformers section
real I liked the witch from mercury I kind of just like the idea of people having a pet that is a monster and that pet is the only exception so things like giant combat robots are so much funnier to me because they're being piloted by someone who's like "this is my little baby!! ^^" and it's a giant robot that beat the crap out of multiple others and will do so again under their control

He plays the mc, Sam Witwicky, in the first 3 live action transformers films. Aka probably the best era of transformers, even though the movies sucked it was still awesome. And awesome figures too. And the franchise was rolling in money… the best series, transformers prime and transformers animated were released, the best transformers video games came out at this point too… But it’s NOT THAT I’D KNOW ANYWAY. I loved transformers back then but I wasn’t part of the fandom, I’d didn’t even know what a fandom was. It just all went down hill after that 3rd movie. Anyways he’s not a good guy everyone kind of hates him now because of allegations

Soundwave. When I was a kid I thought he was really cool because of his voice. I mainly grew up watching g1 and I think his og voice in that is especially cool. He’s an decepticon, and is mainly seen as being really close and loyal to Megatron and is usually the communications officer or something important. He’s also just really cold and epic in most continuities, and over time I just grew attached to him. I have quite a few figures of him compared to other characters because I love him a lot. By the way you will never guess what he transforms into
No 💀 he transforms into a cassette player. And he has other little transformers called the “cassetticons” that transform into cassette and live inside him. I’m not joking he dispenses little minions out of his chest to do his fighting. His main cassettes you usually see him have in every continuity is ravage (a cat), lazerbeak (a bird), and rumble and frenzy (2 little mini decepticon dudes they are adorable). He has others depending on the continuity though. But the fandom kind of makes this headcanon that he’s a single dad and all of his cassettes are like his children which is really sweet 📼
Also Murdoc is cool, my favourite was always 2D. I know it’s basic but he’s just cool looking

But in transformers prime, the one I recommended you to watch, he’s very different from other continuities. But he’s super cold and still super epic. Yes I love stuff like that. One of my favourite books is called Klara and the Sun, it kind of calls out the immorality of creating ai and sentient robots and stuff throughout the story. If I had money I would buy this book right now and read it because I need something to get me back into reading. But I’m poor and don’t have much time anyways 😔
