You guys seem to fight quite a bit.. I agree with -Depression-, one slug dying is sort of unimportant.. This person could have a fear of slugs, and believe they should be dead, just like I am the same with spiders. But I'm not going to condemn you crying over it.. Though I will suggest that maybe something more is going on. Maybe you think dying is unfair. It may not even be because of the slug dying, it might just be something else..
