the idea of space is cool it's like the ocean i'd also figure that we're pretty uncommon within the universe, there would be planets like us but I doubt we'd ever get to find one this century

the fact that theres news about 'habitable' exoplanets is just entirely untrue it's always situated in a habitable zone, and a red dwarf star near it

but i also think there are also potentially ammonia/silicon/methane based lifeforms, it is possible with what we understand so far

I like the idea of dyson spheres tho, because many scientists have noticed some stars flickering suggesting the idea of dyson swarms or spheres if you don't know what a dyson sphere is, it's a megastructure covering the sun to drain it's power, but the structural integrity of the sphere is weak, suggesting we should instead use hundred meter probes orbiting the sun, making the dyson swarm

there are many other megastructures i'd like to list about, like bishop rings, fusion candles, dyson lasers and many other crafts

my personal favourites is the O'neil cylinder, and the birch planet an O'neil cylinder is designed as a colony ship that rotates to mimic the coriolis affect it is also strapped with 3 huge mirrors directing the sunlight into the craft it spans around 20 miles long and 4 miles in diameter

The birch planet is like a shell world, encasing a planet, jupiter-like planet, star or black hole I personally like the black hole one, because time slows more closely you live to the blackhole I do hate some things about it, like the weak carbon nanofibres not being able to withstand such gravity

I do like the star-wars-death-star equivalent in theoretically real life called the nicol-dyson laser, that extracts the suns energy in a focussed magnifier to shoot lasers at other solar systems I think this does help with the sun because you're extending the life of the star

I don't think we're gonna find any intelligent life near our solar system, but I do believe that there is a greater possibility of us finding alien bacteria and plants. Something small and simple. Maybe there's intelligent life in other areas of our galaxy or in other galaxies entirely, but I'd be surprised if we found anything like humans in a star system nearby
