The "abused becomes the abuser" trope in writing CAN be good, only if it's well-written. A good example of this (in my opinion) is glados from portal which may seem stupid but if you really pay attention to the lore you'll get it.
getting all boo hoo cry baby is okay unless youre doing it for a dumb reason like for example the entire vivster drama, bee made several warnings and viv ignored them, then all of a sudden she got all up in her feels cuz she ignored the warnings and saw 18+ content. if youre like that then cry about it tbh, but good reasons are like crying cuz you bf/gf broke up with you or you are just having a shit day
