After a hardy meal, he laid in his nest and groomed his paws, he sighed and fell asleep after a while. He seemed to have a descent sleep, he heard a small sound of a door creaking, but he dismissed it as the wind creaking his door. He fell deep in sleep.

He soon awoke, but something felt different, he felt.. warmth? He felt a small bundle on warm fur that was not his own, he looked to his side and was shocked as he had spotted his baby sister right next to him. The parents were walking away from the shed as they seemed to have second thoughts about this new baby as well. They gave her to him to kill.

What were they stupid? he would never in a million years would EVER kill a living creature such as his kind, let alone his own sister! He looked at the baby and she cuddled into his belly fur, he was skeptical on what to do with her. He felt something odd in his chest.. no.. his heart. He felt the need to curl around her and tell her that everything was going to be okay, and that he would never leave her.

He bent his head down to her slowly and sniffed her, she flinched slightly and curled a tiny bit tighter as her small black and white body shivered madly. He whimpered and licked her little back with his warm tongue and she awoke. She opened up her eyes tiredly and sniffled, she didn't seem to be concerned in the absence of their parents.

She whimpered and cuddled deeply into his white, fluffy, warm fur. He curled around her gently. "shh.... shhh......." He nuzzled her little face and tears cornered her eyes and her belly growled loudly, they had starved her just like they did to him. He looked around and seen he had a little left over fruit, he got to his paws and she rolled over under him from how weak she was, she relished in the warmth of his part of the nest.

He looked down and licked her nose to make sure she was okay, and stepped over her carefully and padded towards his half empty fruit bowl. He looked inside and picked up a mango slice and brought it back, he gently lifted her side with a large paw and took his place where he was once more. He gently tore the fruit to little bits and gently put it into her mouth to eat. Soon she ate piece by piece and soon she was full.

He licked her face clean and purred, his purring made her even more curious, she rapidly turned her head, trying to find the source of the sound coming from him. He cocked his head cutely, nuzzling her with a questioning gaze. She then stared at his chest, she attempted to cutely push him over, he smiled and rolled to his side and she cuddled by his chest and fell asleep to his gentle, deep purring.

He purred softly for her and he watched her lovingly. "Don't worry..... I will protect you forever.... I will never leave you........ I love you baby..." He rested his head by her little head and breathed gently stirring her fur. He fell into a deep sleep, protectively holding his baby sister close.
